Things the Help Guide points out
- Saturation can't be adjusted on BW (Black & White) or SE (Sepia).
- Sharpness Range can't be adjusted in movie mode.
- Once a value differs from the default, an asterisk appears next to the look's icon on the shooting screen.
- Pressing the delete button on a look's adjustment screen resets every changed value on that look.
- While a Picture Profile is on, Creative Look is fixed to "-". On some bodies the same happens in Intelligent Auto.
- Sharpness, Sharpness Range and Clarity are hard to judge on the screen; the Help Guide suggests a test shot, then zooming in on playback.

What changed here
Before 2026-10-11 this site used a different scale that didn't come from Sony's manuals. Every range now follows the Help Guide. The sample Soft Light Portrait had sharpness and clarity values outside Sony's ranges; both are now marked not recorded. We didn't put new numbers in their place.
